My easy menu has two problems:
- The carets are shown in the items, even though I select the disable caret options
- When in a mobile device, only the top menu opens, not the sub-menus
Should note that in the menu module preview, the code works fine. It's in the website with the template that it doesn't work.
I suspect it's a conflict with the template, but cannot find where.

Is there a solution for this? I have the same two problems. dropdown does not work on mobile.
Update: now the dropdown is working on mobile but it is always down. It is stuck with dropdown menu open without hovering. If I switch to iPad and desktop the dropdown closes.

In my case, the template I was using had also a menu/nav section enabled, so there was a CSS conflict, and and offcanvas setting as well. I removed the nav section from the template and disabled the template offcanvas, and delted all of the cached data, and it worked.
