Can't change the width of the module, facebook doesn't work

No matter what I enter into the max width field for either the list or the wall, the width doesn't change. I can't make it skinnier. I can't make it wider.

I want the wall to be full width of my website. What do I do to make that happen.

Also, Facebook feed doesn't work.

I entered our login area in the ftp field.
