By the way, you can check out the following extension:

It works fine with Twitter and FB and verifies user's presence in the social network. E.g. if the user have unlocked the content, he/she will be joined to FB group. If the user leaving the group, then he/she will not be able to download the stuff and need to join / unlock the content again. It is great approach.
You can examine its code and implement similar logic, if you wish.
If it is possible to implement the same stuff, then I will await and no refund is needed.
