Javascript errors cause external links not to scroll was created by stip

Hi!

I have defined three external links in the JUX News Ticker.
But they don't scroll and do show above eachother at the same time.

Developer console in Chrome shows javascript errors:
Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(...).newsticker is not a function
Failed to load resource: net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'top' of undefined

I can send you login info for our website.

Please help.

$document->addScript(JURI::base() . 'modules/mod_jux_news_ticker/assets/js/newsticker.jquery.js', true);

edit:

JHTML::script('modules/' . $module->module . '/assets/js/newsticker.jquery.js', true);
