For some reason we're seeing this white floating box when we hover over a menu item (see here:

) We would like to remove this but not sure how. We would appreciate any assistance with this.

Because your template is override megamenu by tootlip
Please go to megamenu/advanced tab/ custom code field
and add line code below:
div.tip-wrap{
display:none!important;
}
