I have a menu called "Calendar". It should link to the calendar module but I do not see any options that allow this. I have other components that allow you to put them directly in the menu link, such as an article.

Jux Facebook Evetns is a modules , not is compoent, So it can not be displayed in the componen style of the menu, but you can leave it visible anywhere, any menu you want.
a modules always show more than one component as it can be displayed on one or more menus
