I'm really puzzled. My only thought here is that it may be platform-specific then. Are you using MAMP or something else for the local installation?
I've placed the .mov screenshot video plus a few more screenshots of other info in the shared drive folder I gave you the link to. Have a look if you want.
one of those screenshots shows (through phpMyAdmin) the contents of the jux_timeline_module database entry. I notice that the content field is empty. Should it be?
Setting the position to main-top now returns me to the simple listing display, e.g.,
1545
- Council of Trent (to 1563)
1536
- last proposal of duel between princes
which can expand and collapse. So the .css issue is still there.
BTW, I've discovered another problem. I cannot update the jux_timeline_pro modules from the admin interface. I have to use SQL or the myPhpAdmin to do it. When I select "Save" or "Save and Close", the module does not get checked in. This is a separate issue and I will open a separate ticket for it in a bit.
Unfortunately, the modules directory is installed by the Joomla installer into the MAMP PRO htdocs directory which on Mac OS is under /Applications/MAMP.
On the other hand, I see that in Sites/localhost/research/medieval, the installation does symbolically link the files and media directories to htdocs. Modules is _not_ automatically symlinked, however.
Adding the symlink fixes it. Yay
You can check the video out under the shared directory in my Google drive I gave you. (symlink-fixes-the-problem.mov)
Thanks again for your help. I don't know whether this is classifiable as a bug on the part of Joomla6 or MAMP PRO, but it doesn't seem to be your problem!
Hi.
Thank you for your feedback.
As I see, the module works fine on your local. Maybe the issue is with your MAMP PRO. Because it works fine on my server with your site backup.
If you need help, please let us know again.
Regards.
