Hi qbussrl,
Thanks for contacting us and choosing our product!
As I answered in ticket. Maybe your back-end use https protocol and our module get data from weather.com via http protocol. So please change back-end to http to fix this problem!
Hope this help!

Hi,

I have the same problem, and Yes I am using https, but I am not going to disable https in my back-end to allow for this to work ?

Where can I set this manually ?

Thanks

Graeme

I see, even the front-end does not show with the NY location specified. Does this extension not work on https sites ?

Hi Graeme,
Thanks for contacting us and choosing our product!
Our module use data from weather.com and this site don't support get data via https protocol. And you can't use this module if you use https protocol.
With default location it will auto save your cookie. That's mean the first time you go to site you will see the default location. And next time it will show the latest location you visited when search.
Hope this help!

Hi,

That's really too bad. I looked at a whole range of options to show weather on my estate site, and you were the best by far.

I was really looking forward to customising it !

All my sites use https, without exception.

Is there any way this can be fixed ?

Anyway, can I get a credit for my purchase, for a future version maybe ? :)

Graeme

Hi,
Thanks for your reply!
Sorry but in this case no way to fix it because all data get from weather.com and we use API data from here.
If your site can't use it you can submit a ticket and say about this problem you can get your money back or you can change to buy other extensions or templates.
Hope this help!

You guys know that Google is now penalising sites that does not run over a secure channel. This change has as much impact that Google's mobile policy had.

I'm trying to say, .. you need to fix it at some time, start now. :)

I don't want my money back, I'll settle for a credit note from you (this means I like what you do and I want to support you in future)
