How to get more then 2 collums

I tried everything in the mean time, the mega menu submenu full widt looks fantastic, but how do you get it?
I do not get more then 2 colmms, is it also possible to make the menu something smaller?

Yes I have read the documentation and testing it for hours for sending this message. I do not get it with more the 2 columns. Shame it did not worked out like the demo version.
