overflow detection submenus

Some of my sublevel-menus are flowing outside their parent containers, which makes them -partly - invisible.

What is needed is a form of 'overflow-detection', so that submenus flip to the left side if there is not enough place on the right side (and vice versa). Is there a way to achieve this?
