Menu issue when url contains query string (as in pagination)

The mega menu seems to have an issue when the URL contains a query string. For example, when using standard joomla pagination, a ?start=10 is added to the end of the URL. When this happens, the menu doesn't load correctly, and the page seems to go into an infinite loop as it keeps trying to load (I see this by tailing the access log).

Interestingly, this issue happens with any query string. I can add ?blah and the issue still occurs.

Are you working to fix this now? This is a serious problem. Pagination is a core Joomla function. If your product can't support this, then how can you offer it for sale?

Guys I need an update on this. I've spent time and money on this, and this bug is a serious problem.

Is there any update? It's been three weeks since I raised this issue. I think it's reasonable to expect better support than this for a paid extension.
