Hi,

i have changed the background colour on the drop down menu style and set the border.

The changes do not work on the website demo.coastalholidays.net/

I checked your problem. I find your site to be "clear cache". before changing the module.
Please delete "Clear cache" ( System -> Global Configuration -> Clear cache

In the website the colour is white
