Make entire slideshow linkable

Can you please help me make the entire image linkable in the slideshow rather than just the 'Read More' button. I actually want to remove the button altogether. I did this by removing the following code from the default.php file:

<a style="margin-top:10px" class="kb-button" href="<?php echo $slide_link; ?>"><?php echo JText::_('MOD_JUX_SLIDESHOW_READ_MORE'); ?></a>

This worked fine but left me without a link. Can you help me make this possible? Thank you.
