Too many files under media/k2/items/cache folder

Hi there,

I am using Nootheme News template.

Our hosting company warned us that there are too many files under public_html/media/k2/items/cache/, the limitation is 20,000. As you could imagazine, the files are piling up there so quickly and it will exceed the limit soon. Please provide some help here. How to avoid pictures piling up under one folder?

This is urgent, I hope you could response at the earliest.

I have read many forums on this issue. No one which would solve this problem. What problems is self-generated by the in k2.
