How can I keep the Template Custom Code Editor Open after editing and saving. Its very tedious after each and every entry or revision to save and have to go back and expand it. Also I'd like to see the code while I'm editing .. I've never seen this as an issue with other joomla templates. It's always expanded as its in use.

Please see images .. first picture shows normal size of editor screen. 2nd shows expanded size of editor while I input custom code. After I save my new custom code, the text editor screen goes back to normal. I'd like for it to stay open.

I've seen your problem, but I want to tell you that it's not a problem, it's just the way the text is displayed, it just scales out when you need it and uses it to enter, After reloading it will shrink
This is because custom framework T3 automatically shrinks to the correct size
