Is there an option in the configuration to suppress the download icon/functionality? I don't want, that people can download the photos from my homepage.
Hi.
Thank you for contacting us.
We will release a new version to add the config enable/ disable the download in modal popup.
Or you can give us your site admin account. We will help you do the custom.
Regards.
Thank you for the new version. I can see the switch to turn on/turn off the download option. That is awesome
Unfortunatelly, I had to install the new package, because it was not possible to upgrade vom 1.0.5 to 1.0.6 as it seemed. As a result, I have to reconfiger my galleries again from scratch. Lucky me, I don't have 100 and 100 of photos with tags and stuff, which need to be filled in again.
Maybe you want to adjust the upgrade capabilities for your gallery module While I am at it.. Would it also be possible to make the module directly assignable to a menu entry?
Hi.
The data will not be lost when you install the module again. But please wait for all your images to load when you click save the module.
With the module, you can easily assign any menu items you want. You can use blank component to create a menu item.

Hmmm.. I don't get the tags, media type and description transferred from 1.0.5 to 1.0.6. I didn't save the module yet but I see two modules ofc (1.0.5 active and 1.0.6 inactive). The blank module can't be downloaded.. too many redirects http error.. but I have found an alternative for it, which is also compatible with J4 and J5
I've found the issue.. the new installation with the original name creates a new database table, since I have renamed the original title of the gallery. Because of that, no meta data is present in the new table.. you maybe want to change the way of your "update" procedure.
Because, this can happen any time with any customer. I rarely leave the original module title unchanged. Normally, I create a copy of the vanilla module and work on the copy. This never caused any issues with new module versions in the past.
