Jux Protfolio question and modifaction

Hi i have purchase the template: jux-portfolio, and i would like to change the background ( it is now just white).
1. Is it possible to change the background, use my own background colour or picture?
2. untder products image , it is not allow to upload transperement picture? any way to make it possible to use transparemat pictures?
