It works now but it breaks responsive behaviour. At some screen sizes the ratio of the images is wrong with this solution. We must keep autoheight. The problem is that the script loads before the size of the first image is known i.e. before the first image is loaded, I think.

The pictures fit but with wrong image aspect ratios. See this picture for example. The ratio of thumbnail picture is completely different from the big picture.
