Clicking article loads on home (featured) page

Hello. It seems that every time I click an article in the ticker, the article is loaded under my home page content, even when I'm not currently my the home page. How do I get the article to display with only the modules I want?

Thanks, but that did not resolve the issue.

It appears to only show this behavior when the page you are viewing is linked to the "blankcomponent" menu type. I have a few of these types used in my menu because I am not using an actual article to display content on some pages - for example 'Contact Us' and 'Our Inns > Tyler' on the main menu. When you hover over a link from the ticker on these pages, it refers to the root, but if you click on any other menu item, like 'Reservations', and the hover over a link from the ticker, it refers to root/reservations, and the ticker article is displayed without the home page format.

So how can I get the ticker articles to load without landing on home page? I don't really want to create an article for these blankcomponent menu types, and load my modules inside these articles.

Sorry late reply.
Link of our products. is taken from article in Joomla. I think it is not wrong. You must check the other modules, can they not right assignment.

To resolve this, I had to create a hidden menu, and under that hidden menu, create an item of type "Articles > Category List". Assign my category to this list, and now all the articles have a landing place.
